Reflection
I chose this fire project essay because I could personally relate to this problem. At first approaching this topic seemed dull, but learning about the inequalities in our education really opened my eyes to a realistic perspective that I myself didn't know existed. A topic of unequal education really brought an interest while I was approaching and discovering hidden resources that portrayed and painted a picture of blueprint of what our modern public education system is leaving for us. Overall, the whole process was very interesting and eye opening. The endless resources and facts made the project really come together and work well. As a grade I think I’ve earned a solid “B.” My team worked really hard to get the information and create our papers and make them come together. I’d even say that I accomplished my goal of finding a great topic to learn and evolve my interest in. My advice that I would give to a sophomore for their capstone project would be to find something that interests their passion and if the topic is relatable to them. Also to take resources and use them to their advantages because this will help with the project as well as putting their entire effort making it an accessible and achievable goal to soon accomplish. Be passionate and extend knowledge that can be easily exchanged.
